Coming from a math background, I often read “collected works” as meaning “complete works”; for this title, it seems to mean collected as in gathered/selected for a particular exhibition, so I did not use a conventional collective title, only the title proper.

I also considered “collected works” to be a noun phrase that is part of the statement of responsibility, rather than other title information.
