To authorize the secretary of the Navy to construct a T tunnel as a means of communication and transportation between San Pedro, Wilmington, Long Beach and Terminal Island, Calif. (H.R. 5006). Mr. King (OCLC #904614435)

The character that appears before the word “tunnel” in this title is not a letter T in the same font, but is more like a shape (sometimes called a “tee” or “down tack”).

The LC-PCC PS for RDA 1.7.5 on Symbols says to use existing characters when this can be done without serious distortion or loss of intelligibility, so I transcribed this in the title proper just using a capital T:

245 10 ǂa To authorize the secretary of the Navy to construct
a T tunnel as a means of communication and transportation between
San Pedro, Wilmington, Long Beach and Terminal Island, Calif.
    (H.R. 5006). Mr. King.

In [U]mbra : ǂb демонология как семиотическая система / ǂc ответственные редакторы и составители Д. И. Антонов, О. В. Христофорова. (OCLC #896742190)

Even on the title page, the U in the word “Umbra” is represented as some kind of animal; it is probably a demon, given the subject of the book.

RDA 1.7.5 on Symbols has an LC-PCC PS with instructions on handling symbols with an obvious spoken or written equivalent, which the picture of the demon has. I added a note about this detail:

500 __ ǂa On title page, "[U]" appears as a demon.

Learn 2D game development with C# / Jebediah Pavleas, Jack Keng-Wei Chang, Kelvin Sung, Robert Zhu. (OCLC #868648400)

This title has two abbreviations which can be recorded in a variant title, according to the LC-PCC PS for RDA 2.3.6.3:

246 3_ ǂa Learn two-dimensional game development with C sharp

It may be bit excessive, as I don’t know how many budding game developers would search our catalog for “two-dimensional game development”. Also, though C# is not in the first five words of the title (the cut-off in the LC-PCC PS), C Sharp is an alternate spelling of C# and might be searched for by a patron who had only heard of the language, but not seen its name written.

Support/materialise. Columns, walls, floors / editors Alexander Reichel, Kerstin Schultz ; authors Henning Baurmann, Jan Dilling, Claudia Euler, Julius Niederwöhrmeier ; translation from German into English, Hartwin Busch. (OCLC #864390940)

I initially misread the pipe (“|”) in the title as a capital letter I. I read it over and over, trying to sort out its meaning “Support I materialise”? Fortunately, the initial cataloger had misread it the same way (so did Amazon!) so there was no problem finding copy. However, pipe is not an ALA character, so I had to represent it another way. Though RDA 1.7.5 says to ignore typographical devices that are used as separators, I followed the LC-PCC PS (and the example of another volume in the series) and used a slash, for consistency, and because it can be done without serious distortion or loss of intelligibility. I did include the version with capital I as a title variant.

Also, the ISBN actually on the piece is from an old edition with a slightly different title, and the ISBN in all online records I’ve found for this edition is not actually on the piece. I’ve included both in the record, because I’m not sure which is more authoritative.
