Историко-литературный обзоръ древне-русскихъ полемическихъ сочинений противъ латиниань, XI-XV в. Андрея Попова. (OCLC #923014236)

Under AACR2, facsimile reprints were cataloged with most fields (publisher, date, dimensions, etc) reflecting the original item, with a 533 note providing information about the publisher that created the reprint. Under RDA, the main data reflects the piece in hand, with a link to the data to the original piece (which includes original publisher, date, ec).

For example, in this piece I recorded:

264 _1 ǂa Ann Arbor, Michigan : ǂb University Microfilms, ǂc 1968.
300 __ ǂa vii, 417 pages ; ǂc 22 cm
776 08 ǂi Reproduction of (manifestation): ǂa Popov, Andreĭ Nikolaevich, 1841-1881. ǂt Istoriko-literaturnyĭ obzorʹ drevne-russkikhʹ polemicheskikhʹ sochineniĭ protivʹ latini︠a︡nʹ, XI-XV v. ǂd Moskva : Tipografiia T. Risʹ, 1875. ǂw (DLC) 65083011 ǂw (OCoLC)6365868

RDA does not describe MARC practices, so gives no guidance on Fixed Fields, so I did what seemed most reasonable following BibFormats:

    Form: r Ctry: miu DtSt: r Date1: 1875

The date of the content is also reflected in the call number, followed by a lowercase a to indicate that it is a facsimile.

    BX1763 .P58 1875a

Do you do anything different when you catalog these?

Ўзбек тили дарслиги : бошланғич мактабнинг тўртинчи синфи учун / М. Шамс, Т. Содиков. (OCLC #922535817)

The title page of this has the phrase “fourth class” spelled out (“тўртинчи синфи”), but on the cover it is abbreviated (“4-синфи”). The LC-PCC PS for RDA 2.3.6 on Variant Title says they are only core for rare materials, but NLA PS considers most types of variant titles (including cover titles) to be core. I recorded this one to aid in searching:

246 14 ǂa Ўзбек тили дарслиги : ǂb бошланғич мактабнинг 4-синфи учун
246 14 ǂa Ŭzbek tili darsligi : ǂb boshlanghich maktabning 4-sinfi uchun

And quiet flows the vodka, or, When Pushkin comes to shove : the curmudgeon’s guide to Russian literature and culture, with the devil’s dictionary of received ideas, alphabetical reflection on the loathsomeness of Russia, American Academia, and humanity in general / Alicia Chudo ; edited by Andrew Sobesednikov. (OCLC #43540075)

The LC-PCC PS for RDA 2.3.6.3 on Recording Variant Titles says: For titles proper that contain an “alternative title,” insure title access to the complete title proper (MARC field 245); to the first part of the title proper up to the word “or” or its equivalent in another language that signals an alternative title (MARC field 246); and to the part following the word “or” or its equivalent in another language (MARC field 246).“ For this title, this appears as:

245 10 ǂa And quiet flows the vodka, or, When Pushkin comes to
shove : ǂb the curmudgeon's guide to Russian literature and
culture, with the devil's dictionary of received ideas,
alphabetical reflection on the loathsomeness of Russia, American
Academia, and humanity in general / ǂc Alicia Chudo ; edited by
    Andrew Sobesednikov.
246 30 ǂa And quiet flows the vodka
246 30 ǂa When Pushkin comes to shove

ISBD punctuation for the title proper is described in ISBD 1.1.3.4

El ingenioso hidalgo don Quixote de la Mancha : (1608) / por Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra ; [con prólogo de Fredo Arias de la Canal]. (OCLC #793608594)

RDA 3.4.5.5 on Misleading Numbering says: when the numbering on the last page gives a completely false impression of the extent of the resource, record the numbering as it appears on the last page followed by that is and the correct number. The pages in this resource have content are both sides, but only the leaves are numbered, so its physical description is:

300 __ ǂa xviii, 277, that is, 554 pages ; ǂc 22 cm

Appendix to flammability of clothing textiles, CS 191-53 / statement of the Standing Committee on Commercial Standard CS 191-53. (OCLC #914231826)

This document is an appendix to a commercial standard (cataloged separately), which is indicated in the SuDoc number:

086 0_ ǂa C 18.276:191-53/appendix

I also included an added entry for the original work, using the relationship designator from RDA J.2.5:

730 0_ ǂi Appendix to (work): ǂa Flammability of clothing textiles.

I︠A︡zykovai︠a︡ situat︠s︡ii︠a︡ Kievskoĭ Rusi i ee znachenie dli︠a︡ istorii russkogo literaturnogo i︠a︡zyka : [doklad na IX Mezhdunarodnom sʺezde slavistov, Kiev, 1983 g.] / B.A. Uspenskiĭ. (OCLC #10876369)

When copy cataloging, recall that pre-RDA records may abbreviate various words which you may not recognize if they are in an unfamiliar language. For example, where this piece says “Издательство” (Izdatelʹstvo, “publishing house”), the record I found abbreviated it as Izd-vo:

260 __ ǂa Moskva : ǂb Izd-vo Moskovskogo universiteta, ǂc 1983.

This makes such words not ideal for searching, and you may have to look closely to decide if the record you found matches the piece in hand.

Кижи = Kizhi = Kishi / avtory knigi: Крохин В.А., Пулькин В.И., Смирнов В.И., Ямщиков С.В. (OCLC #913890757)

RDA 2.3.3.3 on Recording Parallel Titles Proper says “if there is more than one parallel title proper, record the titles in the order indicated by the sequence, layout, or typography of the titles on the source or sources of information.” In ISBD, this is done with equals signs preceding each title proper:

245 00 ǂa Кижи = ǂb Kizhi = Kishi

245ǂa contains only the first title proper; the other two go into 245ǂb, Remainder of title.
